I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and NCPS (National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society). This means that I am committed to providing the highest standards of proficiency and ethical practice.
I have delivered counselling for the NHS, Mind (mental health charity), Cruse (bereavement support) and the Margaret Jackson Centre, which is a dedicated therapy hub in Exeter. I have also worked extensively with the Alzheimer’s Society, the leading dementia charity and volunteered with the Samaritans. All this has given me considerable experience working with people with life limiting illnesses and providing support for their families and carers.
I am an affiliate counsellor for Health Assured, the UK’s largest provider of EAP (Employee Assistance Programmes).
I am also a certified Online and Telephone Counsellor.
