Do you experience anxiety, anger or a depressed mood resulting from a life changing event or change in your life?
Do you find it hard to cope or make plans or even continue with life after this event or change?
Do you have physical symptoms like headaches, fatigue or stomach aches as a result of this stressful event or change?
Do you find it difficult getting used to life after a recent stressful event or a change in your life, like loss of employment or a relationship?
Do you feel that you have difficulties with everyday activities or don’t want to be around others since this event or change?
People come to counselling because life events resulted in big changes in their lives.
Examples are changes in their circumstances such as employment, a loss of identity or previous capabilities, divorce or a relationship breakdown, conflicts with family members, change in social activities or social isolation, or problems with co-workers which result in work interfering with family life.
These are just a few examples from my practice that have caused deep emotional shifts in people with detrimental effects on their energy and affecting their ability to cope with day to day living.
And as a result they came to seek help in therapy.

If you experience some or all of the above symptoms, I can help you address them as a starting point to creating change. You can book a free ‘Get-to-Know’ session (using Zoom or telephone) as your first step.
Together, we will identify what you want to achieve with counselling. We try to actively work on finding out how you got where you are now. Sometimes this can take a while, as the counselling process can be seen as a journey that shouldn’t be hurried. Many clients who come to counselling have recognised that there is a need for something to change in their life, and that they need support to make this change happen.
